Queen Letizia has returned to work this Wednesday after several days without any official act and has done so in Mérida, where she has chaired the meeting of the Council of the Royal Board of Trustees on Disability – which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary and whose honorary presidency holds the monarch – and the act of delivery of the ‘Queen Letizia Awards 2021‘.
The awards, to which the Queen is especially committed, are intended to encourage the promotion of the rights of people with disabilities, social inclusion, equal opportunities, rehabilitation and disability prevention.
But what the Queen did not expect was meet an award-winning woman wearing the same model, a low-cost two-tone design by Mango ideal for any type of occasion and that costs 49.95 euros.
The duplicate styling is a half white half black midi sleeveless model, with a crew neck and a side slit in the skirt that does not lack detail, since it incorporates a wide black belt that fits at the waist. A new acquisition for Doña Letizia’s dressing room, which in 2022 is being surpassed with ‘made in Spain’ premieres.
As accessories, the Queen has opted for sobriety with a Hugo Boss short-handle leather bag in black and pumps with Steve Madden vinyl sides to match.
Chance has led to a fun moment that has drawn a smile both on the face of Doña Letizia and on that of the winner.
