The film shows, without a doubt, one of the most precious jewels of Barcelona, the emblematic MNAC building, which was built for the 1929 International Exhibition. In fact, in this majestic location, the camera captured for three days, various sequences with the actors and extras, but he also took the opportunity to film the magnificent panoramic view of the Montjuïc mountain.

The week of October 16, the stars of the film, Tom Holland and Antonio Banderas, traveled to the Costa Brava to record in the Sa Boadella cove in Lloret de Mar (Girona). For several days, the area was shielded to simulate a tourist complex, specifically a paradisiacal place in Southeast Asia.

As expected, among the enclaves of the film you can see the greatest exponent of Catalan modernism: the Sagrada Familia. Those responsible for production were in charge of shielding the vicinity of Antoni Gaudí’s basilica, a stellar location that could not be missing in this adaptation of a famous PlayStation video game saga.

On October 23, the production team moved to the central Plaça Sant Josep Oriol in the morning. Right in front of the Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi, Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg and Sophia Taylor Ali shot various scenes over a couple of hours. Already in the middle of the afternoon, the cameras entered the interior of the Gothic church.

After spending a couple of hours filming in Plaça Reial, the director Ruben Fleischer and those responsible for production chose the surroundings of the Gòtic, the oldest neighborhood in the city, to record for a whole night. There they focused on the typical narrow and medieval streets. Among them, they stopped to film in Consolat de Mar street, surrounded by arcades.
While the early morning of October 26, the filming took place in El Born. There I can see Mark Wahlberg, guarded by an army of technicians and extras, for long hours.
