Where will it snow in Spain in the next few days?

The DANA has already triggered a change in weather that is perceptible in almost the entire country as of today, with widespread rains and lower temperatures. It is a typical winter climate that puts an end to an anticyclone that persisted longer than normal on the Peninsula and that is now history.

But apart from the rains, also there will be snowfall in much of the country. The summits of the main mountain systems will turn white, according to the AEMET forecast for the coming days.

From this same Thursday it begins to accumulate snow in many spots. According to the AEMET forecast, all the mountainous systems of the Peninsula will turn white throughout today, which is why the corresponding warnings have been activated in the center and north.

At the end of the day the snow level will drop considerably, due to the drop in temperatures caused by the cold front that crosses the Peninsula.
